If you are reading this, recite the following pledge aloud

The Daily Food

I pledge allegiance to the Lays, and to always eat Doritos.
And to the Barbecue, and cool ranch, one chicken, under cod(as in codfish), individual, with Jif and Mayo for all.

Honor the bacon clan, I pledge allegiance to the plate, with some crumbs, and enough food for all. And now for a moment of digestion...

Pretty cool, huh? And I have a bunch of members in my clan and I am followed by every recess! People from my clan always chant with me at lunch, at, recess and everywhere. All of the teachers know about it.

 LONG LIVE THE FOODIES!

BYEEE!

Back from school

The Daily News
Hey guys! Back from school, first day, it was great! Sorry I couldn't post much in the morning, but that was because I was getting ready for school.

Today was solar eclipse! It looked SOO COOL!
Only problem was, The WHOLE GRADE EXCEPT FOR US WAS ALLOWED TO SEE IT. Seriously, it made no sense and wasn't fair! And now I'm home, it ENDED!

Still, it was a great first day. But now I think about it, I can't remember anything I did for some reason...

In the morning, I had egg. Bleugh. And Idly and chutney. Double bleugh.

                                                                                                                               Bye!

The future and what it features

The Daily News

Hey! Have you ever thought of how the future might change? Well, I have. Many scientists have been working on the perplexed project of time traveling. Others have worked on teleportation. Or robot with their own minds. These random ideas are stuck in my brain for some weird reason.

Yeah, I know that my brain looks weird.

I think that time traveling was, is, and will be impossible because it's like creating a whole other dimension. Plus, it's like cheating god. almost the same matter with teleportation. Because, look at it. Where would you be while in the process of teleportation? Another dimension or area, right? I was also curious about robots with their own deciding to do things without being programmed to. Look at what I found in science magazine:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/runaway-robot-escapes-research-facility-8205560

See? Pretty weird, right? And that's not the only one that I wonder if these sparks of robots' independence can lead into a flame. What do you think? Please leave your answers on the comments. I'll tell you anything else I find on these topics.Bye!

Back from India

The not so daily anymore since I haven't posted in a while news

I know its been a long time since I've posted, so I'm going to let you catch up on whats been going on.

We went to India again, but for the beginning my mom forgot to bring a laptop, and the second part, I forgot to post( once my dad, sister and brother came). I know India is real big- sorry, sorry- but now ill fill you in.

On the first day, me and my mom were resting and it was boring without my siblings. A few days later, we went to Chennai to see my aunt. Then things started to jazz up. Chennai was SOOO fun! My aunt also got me this awesome drink called "Ocean". It tasted so good!

So that was it until my brother  and sister and dad came. I was SOO happy when they came! The day they came was also the day that my closest cousins came to India! They are so awesome!

We went to this amazing place called Taj. It was so beautiful and fun since we went to a beach and the food was awesome!

Me, my mom, and my dad also went to Trivanthrapuram (or however u spell it). we met their friends, who had kids. Then, we came back to Payangadi house and lived our life.

Then we went to a big event that my dad was setting up for YEARS, called throughback and it was in Kochi. It was pretty cool! The hotel was so awesome!!!!!! Then we stayed at some friends houses until we went to the airport and left top the airport. Im in America right now. Bye!!!

Now we're stressed out (?)

Daily News But Today It's About Stress

Hey guys!

For the past few days, I've been doing A BUNCH of computer stuff. First of all, we have a essay contest throughout all of the Imagine schools in the whole country! So far, I won for my classroom, and the school contest is coming up tomorrow!
I can't wait! Plus I'm SUPER nervous. Then on the other hand,  I have to create two essays, and one speech. One of the essays is for Tahir Academy, and the other one and the speech is for Ijtema. I'll paste my essay from TAD and for ijtema below.

Who are we?

“Whilst it is a cause of great regret, I have no hesitation in admitting that much of the disorder that we see in the world today is occurring due to the acts of certain so-called Muslims .”-Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad

Many people ponder, lost in thoughts of what Islam really is. Are they the extremists creating disorder in the world today? This is the question that is confusing many of us. Are Muslims are the cause of chaos in the world? This statement can clearly be debated. Yes, there are many people who call themselves “Muslims” and still promote violence. But those attributes are not the true meaning of Islam. They are not considered true Muslims. We believe in peace, diversity, and we are against all stereotypes. Above all, we spread a message through Jihad (This does not mean the dictionary definition of Jihad just to be clear). There are only three ways of communicating with Jihad- through the pen, to struggle from within, and striving for Islam.

Our religious leader of the Ahmadiyya, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad held a national peace symposium at Baitul Futuh Mosque in London. During his address, his holiness categorically condemned the recent activities of ISIS and how they made true Islam look inferior. He called ISIS “entirely un-Islamic” and said that they were “viciously spreading a network of terror” in the world.

Do not presume that we are sister allies with ISIS even though they stand for “Islamic state in Syria”. Don’t believe those who aren’t true Muslims and counter our true attributes.

There is a clear difference between true Islam and extremist groups. Let’s examine these ten elemental differences of ISIS and true Islam.
  1. Muslims believe in the empowerment of women
-ISIS has no interest in gender stereotyping
  1. Muslims believes in the non-violent Jihad
-ISIS can’t even define Jihad
  1. Muslims reject terrorism
-ISIS advises terrorism
  1. Muslims respect our nation’s laws
-ISIS barges through the rules
  1. Muslims respect all people- no matter what race, color, or age
-ISIS criticizes many different beliefs and religions
See all our differences? That proves that we do not relate with each other.

We are told to try to show perfect personalities because only 2% of America is Muslims. For example, if a non-Ahmadi knows an Ahmadi who is bad in overall behavior, the Ahmadi will be representing all of Islam in the non-Ahmadi’s mind, which can clearly be the start of a web of distastefulness. We all try to avoid this from happening because it could change someone’s idea of what a true Muslim really is. This is another reasoning of Islamophobia.

Can you imagine the pain for Holocaust victims and slaves? That could be the pain for us in the future if the rates of Islamophobia rise- this level of Islamophobia is the same level of discrimination that black people too once faced. Gradually, the levels of Islamophobia could soon increase to the level of slavery, so we want to have our message heard and spread throughout the world.

But it starts with one little spark.

I'll show you my other speech tomorrow. BYYEEE!!!!!!

Hey this aiden along time later, but now i know that i won the school competition, and got honor roll, and did pretty good in the national Ijtema.

Womens March

Hey guys! Guess my family, you and your family made it through from Thursday!  I had a decent day today.  But today, is the day of the women's march! Men, women, and even children attended the march. About Trump winning, Clinton actually won in popularity votes TOTALLY. But the mindless people made Trump win for the electoral vote.

The Tale of Despereaux -Radio Show (ORAL)

Welcome to the third segment of 93.3 NILL FM! Every week, we review different books for you, our listeners! Today’s topic is... The Tale of Despereaux!
“Love is ridiculous, wonderful and powerful”, Kate Dicamillo
This is one of the quotes that Kate Dicamillo used in her book, and what brought up many conversations in this great award-winning book. The book had dark times and light times which is the main plot of the book. This book shows how one’s heart is divided into two different parts; light and dark. In the book it punctuated things that bring joy and ruefulness. One of the things indicated in the book was love for one of the things that are in the light side of one’s heart and hatred for the dark side.
One of the things that people really like about the book is the sharp plot and the elevated cliff hangers. I was so “despereaux” to read more! The end of the book is an extremely well-kept surprise to pop out at me! Her writing also distributes how life experiences can have a great impact on a heart.

Don’t have the book? Go to the Allen Public Library for a copy! If you want more information, don’t fret! Go ahead and read the book! Thank you for listening and bye!!! ‘BZZ’ ‘BZZ’ ‘BZZ!’

Thank you Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco

Tired of sitting at home with nothing to do? Don’t be a couch potato! Instead, read the book “Thank you Mr Falker”! It is one of Patricia Polacco’s best books. As a matter of fact, all of Pat’s books are autobiographies about her busy childhood. The story concludes that everyone has knowledge contained in their brain, and that everyone is useful.
In this book, little Trisha is overjoyed at the thought that she was going to learn to read. But when she tries, she sees the letters and numbers jumbled up. As classmates keep calling her names, she spends days pondering through books but never understood main points. She struggled through every letter. One day, when she went trudging into the school, she finds a new teacher who finds her rather wonderful- not a dummy, nor a toad but wonderful. Later in the year, Mr. Falker thought that Trisha needed help. So he comforted Trisha and said,”You’re going to read-I promise you that”. She got a special tuition and by the end of the year, she learned to read better than ever. This shows why students should show gratitude to their teachers.

Three times lucky (genre of mystery) book #8

Three Times Lucky
Three times lucky, by Sheila Tubman, has a clear and obvious genre of mystery, which briskly represents the root plot of this book- the process of reuniting with her lost upstream mother, the narrator being Mo.At first, Mo's summer is looking good...but that's before the murder, the car crash, the kidnapping, and the big perplexity. So now, she and her friend, Dale, are setting out to solve the mystery of their lives.

The first, desperate-to-solve mystery was Mr. Jesse being killed with an oar.The news spread across the town as quick as confetti. And you'll never guess who the prime suspect is...Dale! So Mo opens a bi-detective service with Dale called "Desperado Detectives"to clear Dale's name from the crime suspects. Since Mo lost her mom, Miss Lana and the Colonel give her lots of tender loving care. One day, Mo and Dale are outside having some fun. When they get tired, they go to Mo's house, and the next thing they know-Miss Lana and the Colonel are kidnapped with a note left by the kidnapper(s).Another professional detective stays at Mo's house, and  Mo must stay at Dale's house. Then, Mo gets a ransom call from a runaway outlaw, Slate, that he will give Lana and the Colonel back if Mo gives half a million dollars back from the Colonel's bank account.

Soon, the Colonel escapes and comes home.Afterward, Mo and Dale riskily break the law by crossing the crime scene tape, but only because Mo has a potent hunch of where Slate is-and she was right. When Mo and Dale got there they attack and reinterpret Slate, and earn credit for 2 murders-Dolph Andrews, and Mr. Jesse, and also for solving a kidnapping case. One day, she finds a bottle(in the creek)- how she attempts to communicate with her upstream mother, but she finds one of her own notes inside, frustrated.

Book #6: "An 'A' from Mrs. Keller" by Patricia Polacco (REALISTIC FICTION)

An "A" from Mrs. Keller

Summary
An "A" from Mrs. Keller is a novel based off of a girl named Trisha, in school, who is nervous about being chosen for Mrs. Keller's writing class.Unfortunately, her miserable thoughts soon convert to reality."Killer Keller", as they call her, demands on students writing papers to emerge with a dazzling appearance that thoroughly, with no doubt, impresses her. Everyone knows that if someone gets an "A", they must be a writing legend.Trisha has always tried to impress Mrs. Keller, but there's just no possibility of catching a little glimpse of her smile! One day, she gets another poor grade, but Mrs. Keller gives her some good advice-"You seem desperate to earn an A, so to earn an A, you must give your words wings".By this personification, she meant to bring more power to the words, and create emphasis in the root words of the idea. One day, a beloved friend of Trisha dies. She feels a great pressure of depression, feeling the urge to write about the catastrophe. Then, her writing takes an unexpected turn. She earns an A, and others can hardly believe it!

Review
I think that Patricia Polacco did a great job on the book, relying on the fact that she gave the character of Trisha a realistic "kid" personality, so the book gave me an album of photos in my head...

Book #1: "Stone Fox" by John R. Gardiner (ADVENTURE)

The book I am reviewing  is "Stone Fox".It all starts off with a boy named Willy and his grandfather who enjoy life in their peaceful farm until one day a catastrophe struck. One day, Willy's grandfather is full of energy, and the next, he lay in bed as still as ice.At first,Willy thought he was joking. Then, he got scared and went to the doctor's hut.The doctor examined  his grandfather and she said that he wasn't sick-he just gave up on life.Willy tried to ask his grandfather what would make him better, but he could not speak.Later, the tax collectors came and said to Willy that he owed them 500 dollars for not paying the taxes (that's what made his grandfather give up).Willy decided to enter a dogsled race with a reward to the winner of 500 dollars. But the problem was that the great racer Stone Fox - who never lost a race- signed up for the race. Difficult or not,Willy was determined to compete and win! Towards the end of the race with Willy in first place, Willy's dog's heart burst. Stone Fox let Willy walk the rest of the race, and Stone Fox said he would shoot anyone that tried to pass Willy. Willy still won the race.

I feel like Willy's dog, Searchlight, tried very hard to win the race thanks to the strong bond of friendship between Willy and Searchlight. I think Searchlight knew that the race was for a very important reason.Willy obviously has a strong spirit because he didn't want to let his grandfather down. I liked this book because it was about friends helping friends. My favorite part of the book was when Willy heard about the dogsled race.

Book #3: The Junkyard Wonders
October 14th, 2016
Oral: Radio Show
Aiden Muhammad

Hello everyone! Looking for a book to read? Why not try “The Junkyard Wonders”,by Patricia Polacco, the creator of “Thank You, Mr. Falker”?It is a great book about having friends and more. This book teaches about working hard and trying your best. This book is actually based on a real-life event that occurred during Patricia Polacco’s life. The idea of the story was about how being different is unique, not weird.

In the book, the girl Trisha had discovered that everyone in her class was different in some sort of way. At first, Trisha did not want to be in a “special”class full of “special”people.Trisha was devastated when she found out that she was in a special class. In the book, Trisha experiences alot, learns alot, and gets better and many things thanks to the help of her teacher-Mrs. Peterson. At the end, everyone in the class ends up realizing that odd people or odd things fit together like identical puzzle pieces. Reading this great, popular book could define the true meaning of genius to you,and you, yourself will find that same definition inside of you. Enjoy reading everybody!
